I have always had an active appreciation of art, however in my early teens I was introduced to the storytelling medium of comic books. Suddenly, I was determined to further my understanding and love of the art form of sequential storytelling. I am mostly self-taught, studying the medium itself and through correspondence and communication with like minded individuals (both artists and writers).

I am, as I tend to refer myself as, a Traditionalist of the comic book medium. My artistic skills lie in Pen and ink, and traditional grayscale shading known as toning. I tend to work best in the black and white medium, however I have also branched into color using Alcohol markers.

Although not a highly sought after art form, there is a complexity beyond each comic book panel which can either enhance or ruin a completed page/book. The science of comic books lies with the juxtaposition of words and pictures, the flow of images from one panel to the next and the pacing provided by panel size and length. I love comic books and enjoy sharing in the medium on both an educational and recreational level.

When not doing art I am making costumes; specializing is Cosplay and Fursuits.
